Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson is expecting her first child with fiancé Romain Dauriac.

Scarlett Johansson is pregnant with her first child with fiancé Romain Dauriac, who proposed to the actress six months ago with a vintage diamond engagement ring. The 29-year-old is about five months along as confirmed by TMZ.

Rumours that the Iron Man 2 star was pregnant started on February 28 as she stood next to her fiancé on the red carpet of the Cesar Film Awards in Paris prompting some to examine her slightly fuller appearance.

In 2013, she told Daily Mail that she wanted to have her own family.

She said: “I would like to have my own family; that would be nice.

'They say it's never the right time and I am sure that's true, but I think you have to plan it like anything else.

'At some point it is something I look forward to,' she continued.

'I am fortunate in that I have had a long career - 20 years - that has been very diverse. So, you know, picking a time to plan a family feels like something that I could do and not feel as though I was missing out.'
