Saturdays' star Una Healy has revealed that she is expecting her first child with England rugby player boyfriend, Ben Foden.

The 29-year-old singer told the Mirror that she was "really happy", but also let slip that the news was "totally unexpected".

The girls have a busy few months ahead, with a new album release and an upcoming tour, but Una has said that she will continue to work "right up until she's fit to burst".

Una's bandmates, Mollie, Frankie, Rochelle and Vanessa, issued a joint statement in reaction to the news, saying:

"WeÂ’re so excited for Una! We canÂ’t wait to have a sixth Saturday.

"Ben and Una are going to be fab parents."

The couple have been dating since 2008, when they were introduced by each other's agents.

Una said back in 2009 that 26-year-old Ben's agent "got in touch with my agent, who then sent me an email asking if I'd like to meet with him."

"I really thought it was some kind of joke. It certainly wasn't the way I expected to meet a guy."

The Saturdays are currently at Number 3 in the charts with their latest track, All Fired Up.
