Samsung Wearables and Smart Appliances

Samsung has unveiled its latest wearables and smart appliances at a press conference in Berlin.

The company’s latest offerings include Gear Sport watch, Gear Fit 2 Pro and GearX in-ear headphones as well as the Quickdrive washing machine and Samsung Powerstick Pro cordless vacuum.

 

Samsung Gear Sport is suitable for swimming and it is waterproofed up to 50 metres. In addition, it tracks your speed and number of strokes as well as activities automatically, so you don’t need to tell it when you’ve stopped swimming and hopped on your bike to do your commute. It has built-in GPS and allows you to store music on it.

 

Meanwhile, the Gear Fit Pro 2 is an activity tracker through and through. It is also water resistant up to 50 metres and you can download Spotify tracks to it.

 

Meanwhile, Samsung’s new headphones are wireless and in-ear with a claimed eight-hour battery life. They have 4GB of memory built in, which means that you can add music straight on to them rather than your phone.
