Artist Sam Taylor-Wood is expecting a baby with her fiance Aaron Johnson.

Johnson, 19, is the star of 'Nowhere Boy', which marks 42-year-old Taylor-Wood's first feature film as director.

Johnson stars as a young John Lennon in the biopic of his early life regarding the events prior to the Beatles' worldwide fame.

After the artist divorced from her first husband Jay Jopling in 2008, the couple became engaged in October the following year.

A spokesman for Taylor-Wood said the couple are "very, very happy" but did not state when the baby is due to be born.

Regarding Johnson's portrayal as an adolescent Lennon, Taylor-Wood said: "When he came for the audition at the beginning I knew he was perfect because he just had the intensity, the focus and the charisma to pull off such an iconic role.

"I saw 300-odd people and he was the only one that stood out."
