Coronation Street's Sally Webster will be left with a difficult decision after her wealthy boss tries to woo her.

Garage boss Ian Davenport, played by Philip Bretherton, is desperate to seduce married Sally and offers her a job as his secretary in an effort to get close to her, the Daily Star reports.

Sally (Sally Whittaker) will have to decide between Ian's wealth and class and sweet but wimpy husband Kevin after her new boss makes it clear how he feels.

Ian will proposition Sally, telling her that although their daughters are school friends he wants to take their relationship a step further.

"Sally has been in awe of rich Ian and his wife Justine since meeting them a few months ago," a soap insider told the newspaper.

"As her marital future hangs in the balance, fans of the soap will be on the edge of their seats waiting to see which man she will choose."

Viewers will see the seduction unfold on Monday January 3rd.
