Emmerdale viewers are set for some raunchy all-girl action as Patsy Kensit embarks on a lesbian storyline.

Patsy, who plays ostracised Sadie King in the soap, finds herself falling for moneybags vet Zoe Tate in a plot set to grip viewers in the wake of a pulsating 4,000th episode yesterday.

Sadie is trying to come to terms with her marriage break-up from two-timing Jimmy, played by Nick Miles, when she finds herself being strangely attracted to Emmerdale's resident animal doctor.

"Sadie will eventually want the comfort of a physical relationship because her life is at rock-bottom," a soap insider told the Daily Star.

"She eventually begins to think that a lesbian relationship with Zoe is a definite possibility - and very trendy and experimental, too."

But the insider will have dampened the hopes of many a male viewer by confirming that the upcoming affair will be "in the best possible taste" in order to conform to watershed restrictions.

This sexy storyline is the latest in a long line of powerful plots for Oasis bad-boy Liam Gallagher's former beau, who earlier this week said taking the job on the ITV soap was "the best thing that's ever happened" to her.
