Pop band S Club 7 are said to be reuniting in the New Year, according to reports, following the success of Steps' comeback this year.
Representatives for S Club 7 are allegedly trying to agree a deal with former boss, Simon Fuller, who retained ownership of the S Club brand.
A source reportedly told The Sun:
"S Club have seen what's happened to Steps and want a piece of it.
"They're hoping to make a TV show following their reunion, a tour and the release of an updated Greatest Hits album – just like Steps."
Band members Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara and Paul Cattermole still perform together at club nights and universities as S Club 3, but the trio are keen for other members Rachel Stevens, Hannah Spearritt, Jon Lee and Tina Barrett to rejoin them.
During their five-year-long career, S Club 7 topped the UK charts four times, had one Number 1 album and sold 17million records around the world.
Popband Steps got back together this year, releasing a Greatest Hits album that went straight to Number 1 and selling-out a UK tour.
A spokesperson for S Club 7 has refused to comment on the possibility of a reunion.
