Rowetta slams Cowell over 'favoured' Steve

'X Factor' star Rowetta Satchell has slammed her mentor Simon Cowell for favouring rival contestant Steve Brookstein.
The 38-year-old singer, who was voted off the talent show two weeks ago, claims the acid-tongued judge gave more support to Steve, who will go head to head with operatic boyband G4 in next week's final.
She said: "To be honest, I think Simon favoured Steve. He backed him more than me. He was going on TV shows and bigging him up. Maybe, in his eyes, Steve was better for the marketing of the show, but I thought I would have been a great winner of 'The X Factor.'"
Rowetta and Steve - who were both in Simon's over-25s team - had an ongoing backstage feud throughout the competition, but Rowetta claims they have got on better since she left the show.
She told Britain's new magazine: "I did say he was fake, but we have been getting on in the last couple of weeks and he was really supportive when I went.
"It was just that he seemed different in front of the cameras and I'm always the same."
