RoomMe is one of the inexpensive smart home devices set to make a debut at CES 2019. It is a simple sensor designed to create personalised home automation profiles for every person in your house. Each time you walk into the room, the device will adjust your smart home devices, such as the thermostat, lights, music and television based on your personal preferences. 

 

RoomMe is easy to install and looks like a smoke detector. It can be attached at the entrance of each room and synch to smart devices via its app through Bluetooth. This means that all automation tasks are completed through your smartphone to prevent any data sharing online. 

 

RoomMe allows you to define each user as standard or master. Master users can do the same but have the additional luxury of having first priority when walking into a room with a standard user. A standard user can set up individual automation profiles for each room of the house.
