Rolls-Royce reports record sales and announces 100 new jobs
Rolls-Royce, which posted record sales for a fourth year running, revealed that it is looking at designs for its first 4x4 vehicle.

Rolls-Royce has posted record sales for a fourth year running and revealed plans to hire 100 more employees at its manufacturing plant in Goodwood, Sussex this year.
The luxury carmaker said it sold 3,630 vehicles last year, which is a 1.5per cent increase compared to 2012. The strongest sales growth was recorded in Middle East, which recorded a massive increase of 17per cent. Sales in China also increased by 11per cent last year.
Now, Chief executive Torsten Muller-Otvos has confirmed that the firm’s plan to make its first 4x4 vehicle. He added that they have started looking at designs.
He also said: "We have reported a strong year and have maintained our position at the pinnacle of the super-luxury market.”
Rolls-Royce, which is owned by BMW, currently employs more than 1,300 staff.
