Robert Downey Jr is Hollywood’s highest paid actor
The Iron Man star has topped Forbes’ list of highest paid actors with estimated earnings of £50million.

Robert Downey Jr, the star of Iron Man and The Avengers, is named by Forbes as the highest-paid actor in Hollywood with estimated earnings of £50million. Both films featuring the 48-year-old actor earned more than $1billion at the box office.
Channing Tatum is in second place with estimated earnings of $60million courtesy of his movie Magic Mike, which he financed and starred in. The movie, which is about male strippers, made $167million contributing to the actor’s $60million pay.
Hugh Jackman made it to third place with estimated earnings of $55million.
Other Hollywood stars who made it to the list are Dayne Johnson ($46million), Mark Wahlberg ($52million), Adam Sandler ($37million), Denzel Washington ($33million), and Tom Cruise, who had estimated $35million earnings. Last year, Tom topped the list with earnings of $75million.
Leornardo DiCaprio and Liam Neeson complete the top 10 with earnings of $39million and $32million, respectively.
