Robbie Williams reportedly wants to launch a new career - as a comedian.
The pop heartthrob apparently fancies himself as a stand-up comic - and says he could quit singing to tell jokes.
The hunky star says he loves bantering with the audience when he's performing, but sometimes dreams of ditching the songs and doing comedy full-time, like his entertainer dad Pete Conway.
He told a German newspaper: "My father was a stand-up comedian for years. Maybe I will be too.
"I notice sometimes on stage that the music suddenly gets in the way because I just want to talk to the audience or make them laugh."
The 31-year-old also admitted he doesn't understand why the press portray him as a troubled star.
He said: "For years there has been this public image of me that I have never understood. They say I'm a deeply depressed, sad bloke who is barely able to get out of bed to see the next day.
"The media seem to like it - he is on the one hand the famous entertainer Robbie Williams but on the other hand he cannot enjoy his life at all."
