Robbie the musical?

Take That star to be honoured in West End show...

A musical about the life of Take That star Robbie Williams has been given the go ahead, according to reports.

The Sun is reporting that the pop star has given the show his blessing, giving producers the chance to use songs from his back catalogue of solo material.

A source told the newspaper that: "Robbie is bang up for the musical and thinks it will be a fun production.

"He loves West End shows and is honoured they will be doing one about his life."

Reports also suggest that auditions for the lead role of Williams are already being held.

Take That's musical, Never Forget, rand at the Savoy Theatre in the West End from May to November 2008.
