Rihanna has now regained the number one spot in the album charts as she released her Talk That Talk album. The album has been in the chart for 38 weeks before climbing to number four. Shortly after, it went up to the number one spot, giving Rihanna back an old crown she used to wear.
The new album is Rihanna’s sixth, and features guest producers Jay-Z and the pop star’s former boyfriend Chris Brown.
Rihanna beat teenage pop star Conor Maynard, who just came out with his debut album Contrast. The pop star was in the top spot before Rihanna came along and had him scoot over to number six. Maynard also dropped 10 places to number 19 in the singles chart with his track Vegas Girl.
Plan B’s album Ill Manors stayed put at number two in the album charts. The album featured songs from his crime drama movie of the same name.
Maroon 5 also climbed one place from number four to three with their fourth album called Overexposure.
The number four spot was then filled by EmeliSande with her Our Version of Events.
Fall To Grace by Paloma Faith also climbed 11 places and is now at number five.
