Emma Watson is the only British woman in Empire’s 10 sexiest actress list. Meanwhile, Benedict Cumberbatch was crowned as the sexiest actor.

Benedict Cumberbatch was hailed as the “sexiest” actor after he dominated Empire Magazine’s poll that was voted for by more than 50,000 movie fans.

The Sherlock actor, 37, beat Bradley Cooper and Twilight star Robert Pattinson for the title. Meanwhile, former Harry Potter actress Emma Watson was crowned queen in the actress category, beating Angelina Jolie, Mila Kunis, and Scarlett Johansson.

Talking about being a pin-up, Cumberbatch previously said:  "It puts a bit of a spring in your step. It's nice, you swagger a little bit, it's enjoyable.

"I've punched well above my weight this year. I find it hysterically funny. It's a giggle.

"I wield it with a massive smile."

James Dyer, Empire Magazine’s editor said that the poll was a great result for British stars.
