Plans for a 20-metre 5G mast on a quiet Cardiff street to go ahead despite objections from residents.

Homeowners on a quiet Cardiff street are "at their wits' end" as the construction of 5G mast begins despite their objection.
Residents have been rallying since last March to make formal complaints to councillors, planners and politicians to reject the 5G proposal. However, the location of the mast has been recently marked out and the construction appears to be imminent.
Margaret Lody, 74, from Rhiwbina Hill said: “It’s literally directly across the road from me. From any window in my house it’s going to smack me straight in the teeth.
"It couldn’t be any closer to my house, unless it was actually on my drive. There are so many places they could put it.
"Don’t put it on the pavement opposite my house and other people’s houses.”
Another resident, Sandeep, echoed her complaints. He said: “While we have no issue with the development of new technology, it’s still very surprising to allow these incredibly big masts to be built so close to residential properties.
“This mast is due to be built directly across the road from our house, towering over all the houses here and creating an incredible eyesore as well. Is it too difficult to move it along the bank of the motorway?”
