Foul-mouthed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay yelled at one hapless cook so much that the man collapsed with a brain seizure.
Lenin Dooris, 32, fell to the floor amid crashing pans during filming of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and was rushed to hospital, the Daily Star reports.
"It was pandemonium in there for a while. We thought Ramsay had killed the bloke," a diner at Oscar's Restaurant in Nantwich, Cheshire, told the newspaper.
"The stress must have been unbearable for the poor guy."
Ramsay, who is famous for his angry tirades against wannabe cooks, yesterday visited Dooris in his home in Crewe, Cheshire, to see if he was alright.
"For me the most important thing was his health. He's fine, he's coming back tomorrow," the fiery Scot said.
"I'm mortified that he had that fit but the ambulance arrived and everything was dealt with urgently and brilliantly."
A spokesman for the show said nobody had known Dooris had a medical condition but it was believed he was epileptic. Filming has been suspended until he returns.
