Quincy M.E.’s Jack Klugman dies at 90
The legendary actor died peacefully at his Los Angeles home, according to son Adam.

Jack Klugman, the legendary actor who played gruff-voiced medical examiner in Quincy M.E., has died. He was 90.
His son Adam has confirmed the sad news and said his dad died peacefully at his Los Angeles home. He added that Jack “been in convalescent mode for a while”, could not walk, and spent a lot of time in bed.
He added: “He went very suddenly and peacefully. He was there one minute and gone the next.”
The actor was survived by his wife, Peggy Crosby Klugman, who was with him when he died, another son David, and two grandchildren.
Jack started to make a name for himself when he starred as a sports writer in US TV series The Odd Couple alongside Tony Randall. He went on to star in Quincy M.E. from 1976 to 1983.
The Philadelphia-born actor also starred in several Hollywood films including 12 Angry Men that was shown in 1957.
