Mao Weidong, a member of the Beijing SWAT team, smashed the world planking record by sustaining the bodyweight exercise position for four hours and 26 minutes.
This beats previous record of three hours and seven minutes set by an American, George Hood, in 2013.
This is astonishing as average people usually last just two to three minutes in this position.
Weidong also won Brownie points from his wife by reportedly finishing after 26 minutes to match her birthday: April (4) 26.
