Plans for Watford 5G Mast

CK Hutchison submits an application for a 20-metre 5G pole in Watford.

CK Hutchison, the owner of Three Mobile, has filed an application to build a 20-metre 5G mast on the footway outside Cassiobury Tennis Club near Cassiobury Park. 

The application, which was validated by Watford Borough Council, was made available for the members of the public to comment on. 

In the application, the chartered surveyor says: “Three is committed to providing improved network coverage and capacity, most notably in relation to 5G services.

“It is considered that the proposed street pole clearly represents the optimum environmental solution to extend coverage to the target community.”

A similar application was recently approved by Hertsmere Borough Council, paving the way for a 15-metre pole to be built in Little Bushey Lane in Bushey Heath.
