Philip Seymour Hoffman had 'up to 70 bags of heroin' in his home
The Oscar winning actor had up to 70 bags of heroin inside his home at the time of his death, according to reports.

46-year-old Hollywood actor Philip Seymour, who was found dead at his Greenwich village home on Sunday, had up to 70 bags of heroine at the time of his death, US media has reported. Some sources state that the true figure was closer to 50.
Among the drugs were ‘ace of hearts’ and ‘ace of spades’, which are both said to be brand names for heroine which street dealers employ.
According to the New York police, a post-mortem examination is scheduled for Monday.
As to the result of the post-mortem, a spokeswoman for the New York City Medical Examiner said that she wasn’t sure when it will be made available. Julia Bolcer added: “Sometimes we have to perform additional testing”
The father of three will be honoured on Wednesday as lights along the theatre marquees on New York’s Broadway will be dimmed.
Aside from his three children, Hoffman is survived by his partner Mimi O'Donnell. In a statement, his family said: "We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Phil."
