Peaches' secret engagement

Geldof daughter kept news quiet for six months...

Peaches Geldof is set to marry her rockstar boyfriend, Thomas Cohen, after revealing they have kept their engagement a secret for six months.

The 22-year-old has been dating Cohen for a year, but says the wedding will not be for a couple of years, telling the Sunday Mirror:

"Yes, I'm engaged! We don't want to get married for a couple of years yet though so don't expect me in a dress yet. I'm so happy!"

The couple have just bought a three bedroom Victorian house together and are set to move in in January.

She told the newspaper that since becoming engaged, she has started to settle down and leave her partying days behind saying:

"I’m actually really boring. Recently, I’ve been staying in with my fiancé every night of the week, watching films like Babe."

Despite her young age this will be the socialiteÂ’s second wedding, after she married Max Drummey in 2008 - just one month after they met.

They eloped in Las Vegas but their marriage ended six months later. When she announced her divorce from Drummey she said:

"I didn't go into it with Max thinking, 'This is going to last forever'.

"But I did go into it thinking, 'I love him right now and I know that I will continue to love him for a long while.'"

The daughter of Bob Geldof met 20-year-old indie rock band singer Cohen in January and the pair have seemed inseparable ever since.
