Peaches Geldof gives birth to second child Phaedra

Peaches gave birth on April 24th, which would have been her mother’s 54th birthday.

Peaches Geldof gave birth via caesarian section to her second child with husband Thomas Cohen on Wednesday, April 24th. The same day Paula Yates, Peaches’ mother would have been 54th birthday. The couple has already revealed the name of the child and it is Phaedra.

  

The couple spokesman confirmed the happy news saying: "Peaches Geldof and Thomas Cohen are delighted to announce the birth of their son on 24 April 2013. Both mother and baby are very healthy and well."

 

The named Phaedra came from a Greek mythology. She is the daughter of Minos and Pasiphaë, wife of Theseus and sister of Ariadne. Phaedra is also the title of the album by the German electronic music group Tangerine Dream. 

 

The former wild child, told Hello! Magazine:"Tom and I are completely overjoyed to welcome Phaedra into the world” and has been posting pictures of her son on social networking site Twitter.
