Desperate Emmerdale vet Paddy finally gives in to his attraction for village tart Viv - and the pair have a steamy romp in the post office.

Paddy has been having trouble keeping the saucy postmistress out of his mind, particularly given the problems he and wife Emily are having between the sheets.

But the bumbling vet, played by Dominic Brunt, cannot control his feelings and goes around to the shop to see Viv.

When he asks for a bag of mint balls, flirty Viv, played by Deena Payne, loses it and locks the doors to the post office to allow the pair to give in to their passion.

The day after, an innocent trip to the vets by Viv turns into another steamy encounter, but this time the pair are caught in a clinch by Marlon Dingle.

He forces Paddy to come clean about his feelings for the middle-aged temptress and the vet promises that he will not let Emily down.
