Oscar Humphreys found a super-rare seven-leaf clover in his garden.
The eight-year-old boy and his brother were investigating their garden after their dad told them that four-leaf clovers, which are considered lucky charm, were growing in the area.
As the two brothers started looking for the legume, Oscar made the amazing discovery.
His 12-year-old brother, Lucas, said: “After searching for a while Oscar shouted out ‘seven-leaf clover’ with excitement and surprise.
“Me and my dad rushed out into the garden in disbelief and both of us had a shock when we realised he really had found one.”
Meanwhile, Lucas was happy with his five-leaf clover and took pictures of his brother holding the rare legume.
The older sibling said: “At first he wouldn’t even let me touch it, as you can imagine he was very proud he was ‘better’ than his brother.
“Now he’s got it safely tucked away in his bedroom away from me.”
