One Week Insomnia Cure?
Fall sleep easily by distracting your brain while keeping stress levels low.

Many insomniacs are struggling to nod off as their brain is constantly distracted with worries about sleeplessness itself. To cure insomnia, Professor Jason Ellis, Director of the Northumbria Centre for Sleep Research, recommends distracting your brain with something all-consuming but which does not trigger emotions.
One trick that you can employ is called the number crunch. But instead of the old trick where you count sheep, try counting backwards from one thousand in sevens. In many cases, such strategy helps people reach either a point of overload or an extreme level of boredom and choose sleep as the desired alternative.
Another game that is proven to consume the restless mind is making a mental list of things that starts and ends with a particular letter. You may choose to list animals, colours, cities, items of clothing, colours, and authors as long as you can keep the game a bland sort of task but not too easy.
Aside from playing mind games, it also helps to rationalise your worries. You must also learn how to relax to ease the build up of anxiety that might be stopping you from sleeping.
