One month insurance is considered as an emergency insurance that you can take out for a couple of reasons. For example, you may want to borrow a car from a friend or relative for your month long trip or you have rented a car for a month for different reasons.
One month insurance will provide coverage for the whole 30 days that you’re on the road. Compared to regular car insurance that usually provides coverage for the whole year, this one is relatively cheaper. Also, most insurance companies offer it.
Of course, you will need to take one before you start your travel. It will be wise if you include all the possible drivers in the policy during your trip so they’ll be covered as well.
The insurance will give you peace of mind knowing that should your car break down in the middle of nowhere or if your tires were slashed, all you need to do is to call the insurance company and they’ll take care everything for you.
Keep in mind that the premium will depend on the scope of coverage that you prefer. For example, if you want higher amount for third party liability coverage, you will have to pay extra for that.
