Nuki, a leading supplier of smart home solutions in Europe, has recently launched their Nuki Smart Lock 2.0, an Apple Homekit-compatible smart lock that turns your smartphone into a smart key.

 

 

 

The new product makes it easier for you to mount your smart lock over the existing cylinder and key. The installation can be done without screws and drilling and takes approximately three minutes or less.

 

 

 

Because it is integrated with HomeKit, the Nuki Smart Lock 2.0 can be controlled with Siri. However, it can work independently without a hub. You need to set it up via the app and it works via Bluetooth so you don’t have to worry about passing WiFi credentials over. And with its new design, the product is now compatible with standard knob and oval cylinders.

 

 

 

It's main advantages are it fits a variety of locks, it is easy to install and its app offers you with a variety of options. It also allows you to use a mechanical key if you get locked out. However, at £259, it is more expensive than most similar products available in the market today.
