Notorious murderer Charles Manson, 80, granted licence to wed 26-year-old follower in jail
Charles Manson, who was deemed responsible for the murders of seven people including pregnant actress Sharon Tate, has been behind bars for 45 years.

80-year-old Charles Manson, who has been jailed for life for his actions which resulted in the killings of seven people, has secured a marriage licence to marry a 26-year-old woman who visits him in prison.
The marriage licence, which was was issued on November 07, allows Manson to marry Afton Elaine Burton, who runs a number of websites claiming he is innocent.
Ms Burton, who moved to Corcoran, California, nine years ago to be near Manson, said she planned to marry Manson last year in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.
She confirms that they’re going to marry next month.
Murder victim Sharon Tate’s sister said that the impending nuptial is “insane.”
"What would any young woman in her right mind want with an 80-year-old man?" she asked.
Manson has spent the last 45 years in prison after he was convicted over the killings of Ms Tate, the wife of film director Roman Polanski, and four others at her estate on August 9, 1969 as well as Leno and Rosemary LaBianca the following night.
