In bizarre news, a 21-year-old hitman was fined £850 because he failed to complete the contract killing.
Norwegian police said the hitman accepted the contract without the intention of fulfilling his promise.
The hitman was hired by another 21-year-old man who said he wanted the teenager dead because he had rejected his romantic advances.
The Norwegian police were able to stop the crime before it was even carried out. However, there is no evidence to support that the alleged hitman had any intention of completing his task. Because of this, he was only charged with fraud.
Meanwhile, the man who hired the alleged hitman was sentenced to two years in prison. He claims to have paid £5,150 for the job but the fraudster said he received only £3,500.
