North East Online Digital Tech Event

Aberdeenshire Council hosts interactive webinar on available support for local digital tech businesses.

Aberdeenshire Council has teamed up with The Library Innovation Network Aberdeenshire (LINA) to launch an interactive webinar for local digital tech businesses in the north-east. 

 

The hour-long interactive webinar highlights available support that local firms can take advantage of including offers from a wide variety of organisations like ScotlandIS, Opportunity North East, Scottish Enterprise, Live Life Aberdeenshire and Interface. 

 

The initiative aims to provide support for firms who wish to develop, test and implement brand new business ideas. It provides an opportunity for participants to hear from rural businesses UltraNetworks and Digital Makers on how they were able to overcome all the challenges they faced before they succeeded.

 

James Buckley of Team Red 5 will share insights on cybersecurity and explain why it is highly important for businesses to use secured online platforms when communicating with customers, collaborators and even colleagues. 

 

There will also be a chance for businesses to tell Aberdeenshire Council and LINA about the challenges and opportunities facing rural businesses to help shape future activity for the tech sector in the region.
