Ben Stiller has confessed he is worried sick about providing his daughter with a "normal life".
The 'Meet the Fockers' star admits he is constantly anxious he won't be able to give his child - Ella Olivia, who he raises with his stunning actress wife Christine Taylor - a grounded upbringing because of his high-profile career.
Stiller - the only son of 60's Hollywood comedy stars Jerry Stiller Anne Meara - admits he found it hard growing up with famous parents, and doesn't want his daughter experiencing the same difficulties.
The actor, whose parents both suffered from manic depression, said: "I want to give my child a normal life, but it's hard to see how I can do it. I'm dealing with the same issues my parents dealt with and I just try to be aware of the pitfalls that I learned from."
However, despite his anxieties, the 39-year-old actor says he insists Christine and Ella spend time with him on set.
He added in an interview published in Britain's The Sun newspapers: "They come to see me at work as much as possible, otherwise I miss them. It's hard to be away, especially when Ella's so cute. I'm just starting to have a connection with her."
