Noel Gallagher is expecting his second child with girlfriend Sara MacDonald, it has been announced.

The happy couple are said to be "thrilled to bits" with the news of their pregnancy which was confirmed earlier this week after a three-month scan, according to the Sun.

It will be MacDonald's second child with the former Oasis rocker.

The long term lovers, who have been in a relationship for 10 years, already have 2-year-old son Donovan together.

Gallagher, is also father to nine-year-old daughter Anais, from his previous marriage to Meg Matthews.

An insider told the tabloid: "Noel and Sara are over the moon.

"They're so happy that little Donovan will have a little partner in crime to play with. Their family is complete."
