Despite rumours that they’ll marry, Prince Harry and girlfriend of two years Cressida Bonas have amicably parted ways. According to a source quoted by The Telegraph, this is because she struggled to deal with the attention of being the girlfriend of the Prince.
One 'well-placed source' said that the couple, who appeared at an official engagement for the first time together last month, have “paused for a breather” suggesting that there is a possibility that they could eventually get back together.
Another friend of the couple said: "It's very sad that they have decided to split but this is a completely amicable separation and they are remaining the very best of friends.
"This gives Cressida the opportunity to focus on her career but they would like to have a few days to be left alone."
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Prince Harry spent the day at a recovery centre for wounded servicemen, promoting the Invictus Games, the Paralympics-style event that will be held in London in September. He did not show any visible signs of emotional strain as he laughed and joked with soldiers.
