No time for a brew... Why the humble office tea round is a thing of the past
Millions of workers say that they don’t have time to make drinks for everyone.

The office tea run may be a thing of the past after a staggering 2.5million workers admit that due to busy schedule and stress, they do not have time to make drinks for their co-workers any more.
Two thirds say that they would rather just make themselves a drink and get back to work. These people also admit that they intentionally wait until they are alone so they can make just for themselves or cunningly make poor quality teas and coffees so they are not asked again.
Because of this, the charity Royal Voluntary Service has launched a campaign in a bid to bring back brew breaks.
The charity’s ambassador Felicity Kendal said: 'Time out for a cup of tea and quick chat is hugely important, especially in today’s ‘head down’ fast paced culture.
'It might be the time someone opens up about something that’s been bothering them or maybe you’ll get to hear about that great job that’s coming up.”
'We all need to take a break to keep our minds focused and it’s so important that we maintain a connection with our colleagues.”
'I’m supporting Great Brew Break to help raise vital funds for older people’s services and to help bring people back together.'
