Nintendo has confirmed that cardboard-based accessories for its widely popular Nintendo Switch called Nintendo Variety and Robot Labo are coming to the UK this April.
Before they hit the market, gamers will be given an opportunity to try them out at Nintendo’s Labo Workshop that will take place in London between 14-17 February. However, the slots are limited and interested parties have to sign up for tickets before 1 February on the Nintendo website. Applicants must be accompanying a child to the event.
Following the announcement of the accessories, Nintendo confirmed that the Variety Kit costs £59.99 while the Robot kit will cost £59.99. The kits can also be customised for an additional £8.99.
Nintendo Labo has been designed to enhance your Switch gaming experience. Nintendo is set to sell two Switch games with their own DIY construction kits – one with a variety of accessories and the other one is specifically about robots. They can be used by simply popping the cartridge into the Nintendo Switch and following the Lego-like step-by-step instruction on-screen to build the cardboard accessories.
