A new film starring Nicole Kidman might be pulled after studio executives watched one of the final versions.

In the film a woman believes a ten-year-old boy is the reincarnation of her dead husband.

In one scene, dubbed "borderline disgusting" by studio bosses, Nicole shares a bath the boy, in another she kisses him.

"Birth" - which cost $50 million to make - has also been attacked by publicists who have branded it a "publicity nightmare".

The film is set to be released in the UK on October 15th.
