Nicole Scherzinger denies being drunk during X Factor show

Fans took to Twitter speculating that the X Factor judge was over the limit before Saturday’s show. However, Nicole denied that she was drunk.

Nicole Scherzinger’s higher-than-ordinary spirits during Saturday night’s X Factor raised some eyebrows with many fans speculating that the talent judge was drunk.

One wrote on Twitter: "How annoying was @NicoleScherzy tonight on #XFactor was she drunk? Stupid southern accent and shouting. Annoying not entertaining!"

Another added: "I'm pretty sure Nicole Scherzinger is drunk tonight, she's gone crazy."

However, sources said that Nicole was "just getting into the disco spirit” and that she was happy because her family was in the audience after flying them over from Hawaii.

The source told Digital Spy: "After watching the girls in rehearsals she was really confident all were going to have a fantastic night. Before going into studio, Nicole was dancing with her team in her dressing room, playing disco classics while she got ready for the show.”
