New tennis reality show

Tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams are starring in their own reality show.

Tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams have signed up for a new US television reality show about their off-court lives.

The famous sisters are known to fans across the globe for their outrageous on-court attire as much as their skills with a tennis racket.

ABC Family announced in a statement that it had started production on the show and said it would premiere the programme with six episodes in July this year.

"The series premiering July 2005 will take an in-depth and off-court look at the fascinating, successful lives of professional tennis players Venus and Serena Williams, focusing on their passions outside of tennis and time spent with family and friends," the network said.

Six-time grand slam winner Serena told reporters: "I'm a fashion designer; Venus is an interior designer. I act. I do so much stuff off the court, and I do so much stuff preparing to get on the court. So it's kind of what it's like. It's going to be fun, interesting."
