Every so often you might get the sudden and rather inexplicable urge to try something new with your nightly cuisine. Perhaps you’re craving a little more excitement in your diet, or maybe you have just decided to test your inner chef and try out your cooking skills.
Regardless, there are many great recipes right at your fingertips, although you might need to sort through them in order to find ingredients which are available for the particular season you’re in. You can go as fancy as you want, or just focus on spicing up some foods. Here are just a few ideas to get you started:
- Mashed potatoes—try garlic, seasonings, onions, cheese, vegetables, or meats.
- Sandwiches—don’t stick to the same stuff you’ve always had. Perhaps try peanut butter or banana.
- Noodles—there are many sauces available to try like traditional tomato sauces, alfredo, and even pesto.
