Jason Manford's replacement has been revealed...

The new presenter of the One Show has been revealed as Countryfile's Matt Baker.

According to reports, the 32-year-old, who has previously stood in for Manford on the show, beat Matt Allwright and Chris Evans to secure his position.

A BBC source has said: "Matt's been a big hit with the viewers. He deserved the big break."

The Strictly Come Dancing star will replace the show's previous host, comedian Jason Manford, after he resigned over allegations in the press about his private life.

Matt will be unveiled as Alex Jones' new co-host on the show this week. Chris Evans will still present Friday's programme.
