New Fitbits for 2018
Fitbit to launch a smaller and more stylish smartwatch that will appeal more mass market consumers.
14:31 13 March 2018
Fitbit has announced that it was planning a “family” of devices for 2018, including a cheaper model that aimed at the mass-market.
Following the announcement, Wareable has claimed that it has renders of the device, which show a timepiece with the same one-and-two pusher design on a narrower, square-circle case. The design is noticeably much smaller than Ionic. It is also thinner and with more colour options. It comes in black, rose gold, silver and charcoal. It is also water-resistant to 50 meters and will not have a GPS module included.
People who are familiar with the matter say that the watch may replace the Blaze in Fitbit’s product line up and could be called the Blaze 2.
The new model will also feature the same blood oxygen sensor that tracks sleep apnea.
