The I'm a Celebrity jungle was the scene of a catfight yesterday as Natalie Appleton and Sophie Anderton were involved in a four-letter word spat.

Catwalk model Sophie blasted the former All Saint for being a "prima donna" while Nat accused the former girlfriend of Australian footballer Mark Bosnich of being "Miss Perfect" for the television cameras.

The clash occurred as the contestants debated how best to carry a chest back to the camp, with Nat telling Sophie to do it herself.

"I'm p***ed off with you," she fumed.

"You are Miss Perfect for the camera - well you can carry it down by yourself. Every day it's 'Me, me, me'."

But Sophie hit back, telling her rival, who has already broken down in tears on numerous occasions in the jungle: "I'm not freaking out. I'm not the prima donna."

The feud continued to simmer for the rest of day and Nat later asked Sophie: "Do you have a heart?"

Sophie retorted by calling Nat a "total b****" which caused the tear duct-challenged singer to cry again. "I've made a complete **** of myself," she wailed.

Meanwhile, a show insider has revealed that there will be no alcohol-fuelled antics in the Australian jungle until self-confessed addict Sophie is evicted.

Producers are apparently worried that the underwear model will fall off the wagon if she is put in front of a tempting bottle of booze.

"Perhaps this is why she is not being portrayed on TV as the most popular character on the show - the bosses want her off quickly, " a show insider told the Sun newspaper.

"Then the rest of the cast can get stuck in to some booze, which should guarantee some lively viewing."
