Duran Duran is seeking £23,500 claiming that their own fan club breached a contract which stated that they would receive 75% of all associated profits.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the group, which was one of the most successful global acts of the 1980s, accused WorldWide Fan Club of breach of contract.
The lawsuit states that the new romantics/rock band entered a contract in 2010, which allowed the club to collect memberships and sell merchandise.
A View To A Kill bandmates John Taylor, Simon Le Bon, Roger Taylor and Nick Rhodes are seeking damages.
