Some of its features include swimming pools modeled after Roman baths, numerous restaurants and The Forum shopping mall that covers over 630,000 square feet and is said to generate more money than any other mall in the U.S. Caesars Palace has hosted many famous performers over the years such as Cher, Celine Dion, Elton John and Frank Sinatra. Foxwoods Resort Casino is located in Ledyard, Connecticut on the Mashantucket Pequot Indian Reservation. The largest casino in the U.S isn’t located where you might think. WinStar World Casino is the largest casino in the U.S and is located in Thackerville Oklahoma. It opened in 2004 and has 400,000 square feet of gaming space, in nine casino plazas that cover over a mile. Each casino plaza is themed on a famous city: Paris, Beijing, Rome, Madrid, London, Vienna, Rio, Cairo, and New York City There are over 8,500 electronic games, a 55-table poker room, and 100 table games at WinStar as well as a bingo hall, keno, a high stakes room and an off-track horse betting plaza. There are around 1495 hotel rooms, an RV park, numerous restaurants and 2 18-hole golf courses.

 

Borgata

 

The Borgata is located in Atlantic City and opened in 2003. There are 2,798 hotel rooms at Borgata making it the largest hotel in New Jersey. There are also a number of top-notch restaurants including Bobby Flay Steak and the Wolfgang Puck American Grille. Other features include nightclubs, shows and a 54,000 square foot spa that includes a fitness center, pool, salon and barbershop. The gaming area at Borgata covers 160,000 square feet and has 4000 slots, 180 table games and 50 poker tables. It is the highest grossing casino in Atlantic City. On a side note, a craps player at Borgata rolled the dice 154 times over 4 hours and 18 minutes without “crapping out”, setting a new world record. Was opened in 1993 and at the time was the largest hotel in the world with 6,852 rooms. Several restaurants, retail shops and a spa are available to visitors. The gaming area at MGM Grand is 171,500 square feet and includes 2500 slots and video poker machines as well as 139 poker and table games.
