Moses' first celeb disciple

Gwyneth Paltrow's new son, Moses Martin, has had his first showbiz visitor.

The actress' best friend, supermodel Helena Christensen, went to New York's Mount Sinai medical centre to see the new mum and baby.

Paltrow gave birth to her second child, Moses, in her native New York at the weekend with Coldplay husband Chris Martin, 29, by her side.

The star couple - who already have a daughter Apple, two - are keeping a low profile after the birth as Gwyneth recovers in hospital.

The pair's unusual choice of name for their new-born has sparked speculation over its origin, with a number of commentators claiming it was inspired by the song 'Moses' that Chris wrote three years ago.

It is also claimed the couple might have named their son after the biblical prophet.

'Shakespeare in Love' star Gwyneth, 33, who is half Jewish, recently announced that she wants to have a "whole bunch of children".
