Michael Moor's documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11" will, its seems, be shown after all.
Disney originally decided not to distribute the film, reportedly over fears that it would lose the generous subsidies provided by Florida - which is of course run by George Bush's brother, Jeb.
Walt Disney is therefore selling the rights to the film to Harvey and Bob Weinstein, joint chairmen of Disney's Miramax subsidiary. The brothers will now seek distribution rights independently.
The film reportedly looks into the links between the Bush family, Saudi Arabia and the bin Laden family.
Mr Moore initially described the restriction of his film's distribution as censorship.
This is not the first time the Weinsteins have sought independent distributors. They did a similar deal over Kevin Smith's religious satire "Dogma".
