After making a cameo role in the Hollywood movie, the Hang Over, former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson will star on US national television.
The 46-year-old boxer lands a new TV cartoon show for American’s Adult Swim cable. He will star as a cartoon detective with a foul-mouthed pigeon sidekick.
The 15-minute show, whose premiere date isn’t announced yet, will feature a detective who gets help from his magical face tattoo each time he is faced with misadventure. Tyson is known for his face tattoo and is also known for having racing pigeons.
According to the network, some plot lines which viewers can expect includes attempt to defeat a super computer at chess and a werewolf who is having a hard time finishing his novel.
Tyson retired from boxing in 2006 and he began a second career in entertainment. He recently toured his one-man autobiographical stage show: “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth.”
