Microsoft Whiteboard App
Microsoft’s Whiteboard is the only collaboration office app you’ll ever need.

Microsoft’s Whiteboard, which was originally part of the company’s massive 84-inch collaborative screen Surface Hub, used to be just a simple collaboration tool that allows users to ink on the screen.
The new, improved version called Whiteboard workspace allows users to ink on their table or PC and the content will show up on all participants’ screen.
Although some aspects of it are not yet known for now, certain features have already been announced. These include the “ink replay” that allows users to scrub back and forth through inked just like a video.
At the launch of the new Surface Pro, Microsoft has confirmed that Whiteboard will be available in preview this summer and to all Office users this fall.
The firm’s executive also said that the sort of interaction via ink would make its way into other parts of Office as well. Users will be able to lasso phrases in Word to select them and delete them just by crossing them out. They added that additional linking capabilities would come to Office over time complementing Microsoft’s eventual hope that users will be able to navigate Windows using just their pen.
