Mick Jagger's girlfriend has been spotted sporting a diamond ring on her engagement finger - sparking rumours the pair are set to wed.

L'Wren Scott - who has been dating the legendary rocker for almost five years - showed off the sparkler to Victoria Beckham during a Paris fashion show.

A source is quoted in Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "It's the first time she's been seen with it and she looked very happy.

"But it's no secret she and Mick are now very close and that he's as committed to her as anyone he's ever met."

Jagger's friends have claimed he is besotted with the leggy beauty because she allows him his freedom.

One pal said: "Instead of demanding he be monogamous, she told him she shared his view of love.

"That just made her more attractive to him and kept him from straying like he's done in the past."
